"... They did what!?" Somehow, even with an impenetrable mist in front of her and a week of isolation behind her, Pearl manages to find a way to be concerned of the most mundane of stories. "Are they okay? I don't think people can digest that..." Her eyes scan off to the side, subconsciously locking to a nearby book with a grimace that can be heard in the way her voice strains out, "Oh, heavens, no."
Shaking her head of the unpleasant mental imagery, Pearl clears her throat. "--No. I can't speak for the others here, but food is the last of my concerns. I'm more worried about this town! I've contacted people in a church, and now a mall? Is everyone stuck!?" Brow furrowing, the gem stares out the far window, frowning at the continued mist's presence.
