It's just not a very good time to have an out-and-out emotional reunion like, well, a distasteful movie. Or at least, that's what Catherine tells herself to get away from the inconvenience of being forced to confront her emotions regarding Simon. Things are a bit spooky right now, so they should be focusing on that and solving the mystery, not... whatever it is they have to say to one another on the subjects of PATHOS-II and the ARK.

She still finds time to make a pit stop to see this extremely retro movie, and promptly regrets it, folding her arms sulkily.

"No, it's not possible," she answers, in her usual matter-of-fact expository tone. "You know, I've only ever seen the term CGI in textbooks. This is weird. No luck with the doors?"

In this specific case, if it can't be solved by flicking a security setting within a system she's tapped into, Catherine knows she's no more capable than Simon is in opening a recalcitrant door. She doubts there's much use in her trying if he can't get it open. At the present moment, she's hideously hide-bound, literally. Another topic she's reluctant to bring up unless Simon's inevitable rampant jealousy about her form raises its ugly head.

Somehow, she finds herself missing PATHOS-II, and the straight-forward, understandable, totally explicable surroundings...
