Then he glances over to her at her last comment. Now there's a long story. "Well, no. I don't have to make them happy. For one thing, I was never a service android, but a prototype designed to assist the police in their investigations. Making people happy wasn't my prime function. For another...I broke my programming and became deviant."
Before the long story could really get rolling where they'd end up standing there for hours discussing programming, artificial intelligence and the different ways humans deal with AIs, Connor made a little jerk of his head in the direction of the security offices. "Come on, we can talk on the way."
