The samurai pauses, not quite expecting an affirmation to his off-handed commentary. He blinks and allows it to pass, unsure if he wants to even travel down that road of conversation any longer. Some things were left unsaid, and maybe with this lady that would be most things.

As the woman waffles over his "odd" request, Gintoki takes to digging into his ear idly. He nods half-heartedly as she reviews her assessment of the situation before spitting out an answer.

"Yeah? But what if I get lost....? I've already lost my parents. What if I'm stuck in a loop of never-ending darkness because I can't find Beyond the Bath?," He gives a shuddered sigh, "No, no. I need more help. Show me the way."
