Dean looked up, kind of hoping for Batman but also a little afraid he might actually be there. Not that Dean needed to be served justice, but Batman didn't seem like he'd be very friendly or likely to enjoy Spider-Man 3. But he also had that sweet utility belt that would probably be useful.

He walked down the outside aisle to the area just behind the screen. He'd once made a friend who worked at a theatre, and she'd been happy to take him on a tour of some of the less-traveled locales. One of those secret spots was the curtained area behind the screen, and in a few of the auditoriums (yes, a few), there had been roof and ceiling access ladders.

They were in luck because though it didn't look like they could get to the roof, there was a ladder attached to the wall that led up to the rafters. He pulled on the lowest rung , and sensing it would hold him, pulled himself up. His arm stung, so he had to rely heavily on his left side, but he was sure he could make it, if for nothing other than recon.

At the top, there was a narrow catwalk that spanned the room, but it didn't really appear to go anywhere other than the network of ceiling lights and a ledge on the opposite side. He returned to the ground and relayed his findings to Diana.

"I guess we could wait up there until whoever is running this thing comes in and then - " he broke off, half-miming jumping down from the ceiling like a huge, stupid cat with no regard for its own life. "Or at least eavesdrop." Yeah, that was more likely.
