"Not on a day-to-day basis," Diana admitted, running her palms along the door to see if there was any kind of hidden catch. It wasn't exactly breaking the Masquerade to talk about carrying a sword. Just common decency. But to be perfectly honest, she wasn't sure the Masquerade or common decency had much place in this situation.
She lacked any kind of schema for it whatsoever.

Diana turned to face Dean again, giving him a grim little shake of her head. "Took up fencing when I was younger." She must have been in her eighties at that point. Maybe even her seventies. "Really useful for scaring off the skeezoids at the club."
