Barnes levels her with the flattest, least impressed look he can muster. He can muster some really impressive ones, so it's actually kind of a treat how fucking done with the situation he looks. It's only because of the audible fear in her voice that he keeps from snapping at her, it's a subtle tone hidden behind her bluntness.

It's a coping mechanism, probably. God knows he's seen his fair share of those.
