So busted, mister! While she might look like a miniature rent-a-cop, and so not a porn star - rude, Buffy has a talent for sniffing out bad guys. Okay, not so much sniffing as a tingling sensation, and not bad guys as much as vampires - but still, she had a feeling here!
"Sure about no one knowing what you've been up to." Matter-of-fact she answered, smug expression dropped at his questioning. "Huh? Why are you talking about laws of thermostats?" Buffy couldn't help but ask in confusion as she uncrossed her arms from her chest and stepped closer.
Reaching a hand to her hip to unbutton the pair of cuffs from their holster she watched him for any sudden shift in his stance that might let her know he was about to take off.
Except the button wasn't budging, as was evident by her arm jerking back and forth forcefully, fingers strongly trying to pry it open. "And what you've been up to is vandalizing..." Another pull at the clasp, "...the town with..." both hands moved to pry open the cuff holster now, "...graffiti. Lots of - OH COME ON!" A growl as her attention moved from Peter to her side as she continued fighting to get the cuffs out. "If you confess now I'll make sure the judge goes easy on you." Was there even a judge in this stupid town? Hopefully it might be enough of a bluff to get Peter to cooperate.
